Our footprint encompasses two locations with more than 600,000 square feet of dedicated fabrication space between them. Both facilities are also equipped with state-of-the-art robotics and production management systems to streamline productivity through automation and real-time tracking.

Grid Structures was founded to provide high-quality, customized steel poles and structures for the Electric Utility and Wireless Telecom industries. A division of Southland Steel of Amite City, Louisiana, Grid Structures operates out of Southland’s original fabrication plant, as well as a second location in Greensburg, Louisiana. Together, both facilities incorporate over 600,000 sq. ft. of fabrication space under beam on a combined 115 acres, providing Grid Structures a production capacity of over 40,000 tons and 750,000 production hours annually. We maintain the highest operating standards, including:

Equipment
More than 30 years of experience and economic development have led Grid Structures to become an industry powerhouse, and our team is committed to investing in the technology and innovation necessary to stay on top. We have poured millions of dollars into capital improvements, such as installation of major control machining centers and robotic equipment, as well as construction of a brand-new, fully-automated galvanizing facility. RFID barcode asset tracking systems allow Grid Structures to evaluate production in real time for maximum efficiency and adaptability.
